Nic began at the University of North Carolina Wilmington earning a bachelor’s degree in Film, but outside of class, he grew his skills as a freelance videographer and editor. He directed projects for organizations on campus, produced promotional content for philanthropy events, and even began shooting weddings. These early experiences taught him how to be quick on his feet, finding genuine moments while translating them into cinematic sequences.

Embracing every opportunity that came his way, he moved to Florida immediately after graduation to expand his horizons. There, he became a licensed commercial drone pilot and worked for a real estate photography company, shooting hundreds of homes over the course of a year. These listings ranged from small condos to multimillion-dollar properties across Marco Island, Naples, Sanibel, and Fort Myers.

Nic’s recent role with Apache Powerboats as Media Production Director further cemented his expertise. Under his direction, Apache’s YouTube channel grew from 3,000 to over 40,000 subscribers in less than two years. The original content he directed, shot, and edited has amassed over 6 million views across Apache’s social media platforms (and counting). He has produced in-shop documentaries, directed high-value promotional shoots at multiple locations, and covered offshore powerboat events including championship races and world speed record runs.

As the owner of Local Motion Media, Nic applies his years of knowledge and experience to local businesses across Southwest Florida - as well as to individuals seeking personal content - creating cinematic visuals that capture attention and elevate brands.
